It is done — we are world champions! For the first time in the history of Soviet and Russian photography. In the section (digital color photography) twenty works were required. The theme was chosen not entirely original, but, rather, not simple: «Once again about the beauty of a woman.» And we managed to collect a victorious collection of works.

Russia is thirteen points ahead of the UK team! Subsequent places in the following order were taken by: Ireland, Oman, Serbia, Norway… In the individual standings, the Russians managed to win three medals out of ten played out at once! Dmitry Ageev, a member of the Union of Russian Photographers from Krasnodar, won two medals — a FIAP bronze medal and a silver medal from the Norwegian Photo Union. Another FIAP bronze medal went to Dmitry Belyaev from Chelyabinsk. The title of world champion as part of the Russian national team was also awarded to Chelyabinsk residents Sergey Kolyaskin, Nikolai Kopaygorodsky and member of the Union of Photographers Angela Schaefer («Stone Belt» club), Stanislav Puchkovsky and Dmitry Arkhar from Yekaterinburg, Dmitry Fevralev from Rostov-on-Don, Muscovites Maxim Maksimov , Tatiana Pimenova, Georgy Chernyadyev, Pavel Shapovalov. All members of the Russian national team in the digital printing section received FIAP Honorary Mention Certificates.
